I'm considering purchasing a Pavilion Aero 13 (be0097nr), but I've seen on the forums here that HP has been removing BIOS support for S3 sleep states in some of their recent systems (aka Suspend to RAM, sometimes called "Windows mode" or "Linux mode" in some BIOS).  Systems without proper S3 support require use of Microsoft's new (& problematic) "Modern Suspend".

Can anyone confirm whether this model still has proper S3 support?

Thanks in advance

For anyone else who's wondering: I bought this system from Best Buy (in the US). It does not have S3.  Straight back to the store it goes.

Not interested in a laptop that can't even properly sleep, nor in supporting any manufacturer who deliberately eliminates user choice.  [Content Removed]
