Hi,

 

I recently upgraded my OS to windows 10 in personal laptop (HP Pavilion DV4). I have performance issue from the upgrade OS. Planning to upgrade Ram.

 

Can i upgrade my ram ? if so please suggest 8/16 GB suitable.

 

Here is my laptop details

 

Model         : HP Pavilion DV4
Processor : Core 2 Duo
Memory    : 4 GB RAM, 320 GB Hard Drive

Need the specific model number but many of the dv4s with Core 2 Duo use DDR 2 memory which can max at 8 gigs but is very expensive. Likely 8 gigs of DDR2 is close to $150 and the laptop might not be worth that much.

Yes, it cost close to $150. Better i go for new laptop.
