Hello guys
I´ve got HP Pavilion DV7 2185dx and I would like to upgrade processor and ram but I dont know what´s the maximum what I can use. I found the number on motherboard 516294-001. When we talking about RAM is probably 8GB but I cannot find anything about processor right now is there 2.00Ghz Intel Centrino 2 Processor Technology featuring Intel Core2 Quad Processor Q9000 and 4 GB Ram cause one I lost but Im gonna buy spare one soon. Only thing is that I dont know what processor I have to buy or how "big". If you could kindly help me with this issue I will appraciate that.
Wishing good day.
Best Regards
Rasty

Hello Banhien
Thank you for your answer. However would you be able recommend me any of these processors ? I´m still amateur in this and I don´t know which is of these in the list is top.
Is it - Intel Core™2 Quad Q9100 2.26-GHz with 12-MB L2 cache and 1066-MHz FSB or
Intel Core2 Duo T9800 2.93-GHz with 6-MB L2 cache and 1066-MHz FSB or
Intel Pentium Dual Core T4200 2.00-GHz with 1-MB L2 cache and 800-MHz FSB or some any other in the list ?
Wishing a nice day
