Here is the story
I have a HP Pavilion dv7-4065dx that the graphics card is bad so I bought a HP Pavilion dv7 -4000 series laptop in hoping to replace the motherboard
I ending up getting a HP Pavilion DV7 4283cl which has a 630985-001 motherboard is it missing the Fan and the CPU
thinking that is fine as I can just switch them out
No as I found out the 630985-001 has a intel and my old one is a AMD
So now I need to get a Intel processor my old one has a triple core
can I still use the fan? and what processor can I get for the 630985-001 board or do I need another fan now?
Thank you
Todd

You have to buy Intel board because physically Intel processors won't fit to AMD boards.
Regards.
