Hi. I have an Hp Pavilion G series my dad just send me from Spain, and i dont know where the model number is...
It only says Pavilion g6 on the left corner.
But you can see the back label...
I have a problem with the audio. It sounds when logging into windows but when im web browsing or trying to listen mp3s it doesn`t.
Now... Im not sure if these are the ids you need to help me, but when i click on Properties inside High Definition Audio then Details - Property -ID hardware- this is what i get:
Dispositivo de audio en el bus interno de High Definition Audio
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2805&SUBSYS_80860101&REV_1000
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_8086&DEV_2805&SUBSYS_80860101
Dispositivo de High Definition Audio
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_7605&SUBSYS_103C166F&REV_1001
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_7605&SUBSYS_103C166F
Btw... Im running 7 64 bits.
Hope you can help me, ive been looking for some drivers but no luck so far...
Thanks in advance.

The first one is probably the Intel high definiition HDMI audio driver which is installed with the Intel graphics driver.
Since the picture of your model number has not cleared the HP censorship, I don't know what video driver to post for you.
The second one is the IDT audio driver.

Hi, stanlin:
Below is the link to the product specs page for your notebook.
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03354594=
Specs state max memory is 2 x 4GB (8GB) of memory.
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03094322.pdf
Chapter 1 page 4 provides the memory upgrade info.
Looks like you would need 2 x 4 GB of PC3-12800 (1600 MHz) memory (AMD computers) to max out the memory.
Chapter 4 provides the memory removal and replacement procedures.
Story has it that getting the bottom cover off is very difficult.
Please see this related thread about getting that cover off.

Hello a1m2m3.
I understand you'd like a way to automatically install and update drivers.
You should install the HP Software Framework and then HP Support Assistant. When you run HP Support Assistant it will scan your notebook and then check HP's site for any updates or missing software.
