HP Pavilion G4 2220TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I wanted to upgrade my 8 year old notebook's HDD to Western Digital Greed SSD 480GB (WDS480G2G0A) to improve performance but the BIOS is unable to detect the SSD.

I have done the following:

- Clone all the partitions of the HDD to the new SSD.

- Updated BIOS to version F.27.

- SSD is with the latest firmware indicated using WD SSD Dashboard.

Is there anyone that can assist please?

Have been reading some posts about UEFI and disableSdisable Boot. But my BIOS still cannot select the SSD. If I connect the SSD using a USB adapt, Windows can select it.
