Hello everyone, I have been wondering this for a while now and cannot find these specifications anywhere. I have tried researching the cooling fan specifications on google, the actual fan product on multiple websites and have found nothing about how large the cooling fan actually is. Could someone tell me how large the cooling fan is. I use a HP Pavilion G6-2210sa Notebook PC.

You can't upgrade the fan to a larger diameter part. The only thing that will work is an HP Part number cooling fan and heatsink. You may find a compatible part built from a newer better fan but the improvement will be in the mechanicals and electronics. It will be the same size and in the exact same shape. You can improve cooling by using a very thin pure copper shim between the processor and heatsink, better cooling compound or by modifying the case for better airflow.

This is the cooling fan by part number:
Heat sink for use only with computer models equipped with UMA video memory 680549-001
Looks like this:
Unless you can find a picture of this up against a ruler hard to say how big the fan is, exactly. Why do you ask?

I ask because the cooling fan that originally came with my HP Pavilion G6-2210sa overheats too quickly when I am playing games such as Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. The fan has also had the "Cooling fan not working" error twice in the past two weeks which is why I am planning to upgrade my systems cooling fan to a more advanced fan and I would need to know the maximum space the case for the fan can hold.
