I have a HP Pavilion G72-c55DX laptop that the  Mouse Buttons Hard To Push 

Does that mean I need to get a new palmrest as the button are  to hard to push down to make contact and the  has worn out contacts?

Has all the correct drivers for it and still has that problem

At about the ten year mark  parts do start to wear.

 

Drivers will not help with a mechanical problem.

 

You could try cleaning the touchpad button board, although that requires disassembly of the laptop..

 

It will probably not be really worthwhile to replace the top cover and the touchpad button board.

 

The simplest solution would be to connect a wired or wireless mouse to use and then disable or turn off the touchpad.

I see the board part is still out there for about 6.00 so I will change that 

I used to work on laptops as a tech for 15 years so that will be a easy fix 

we sell these for our cat abuse program
