15-cx0056wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

I recently got HP Pavilion Gaming for my friend, the exact model name is 15-cx0056wm.

I want to do a storage upgrade on this laptop, I know it has m.2 slot on the motherboard, but I could not find information whether this slot supports NVMe SSD or SATA SSD or maybe both of them ?

I won't be able to dissably the laptop for some time, but sooner I know the right SSD type the better.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me here.

I assume many will have this question from this model soon because the HDD on this laptop is just too slow.

I've already confirmed that at my local HP service centre, but thank you!

I would like to know if the appropriate nvMe m.2 SSD for this system is the one with 2 notches or the one with a single notch. I'm confused as to which to purchase.
