I want to upgrade my ram. Here are the specs:
Mainboard: HP 85FA
CPU: Intel i5-9300H
RAM: Samsung DDr4-2666 8 GB (m471a1k43cb1-ctd)
OS: Windows 10
This is the ram i wanna buy:
Crucial 4GB 2666MHz DDR4 Ram

Hi:
Yes, it will work, but I have to question your reason for buying only a 4 GB memory module.
According to the Crucial memory report for your notebook, you can install as much as 2 x 32 GB of memory.
If you only install a 4 GB memory module, the memory is still going to run in the lower performing single channel mode.
If you install an 8 GB memory module, not only will your notebook have more memory (16 GB instead of 12), but the memory will run in the higher performing dual channel mode.
If you are on a budget, save your money until you can afford the 8 GB memory module. It is not that much more expensive.

In my country 8GB much more expensive than 4 GB and for political reasons they are going to be much more expensive after a while. So thanks for advice again.
I have stutter issues on RDR2. having 12 gb going to effect my performance right?
