Hi:
Installing gaming memory in your notebook is generally not a good idea, because it has faster timings than the standard memory that came with your PC has.
Since you can't adjust the timing/XMP profile in the BIOS, you may be better off using the standard Crucial memory.
It may work, it may not.
The standard memory will work.

Hi:
Run the free utility that I zipped up and attached below to see what speed memory HP installed.
The manual indicates the memory runs at 2400 MHz, but it also seems to indicate that they may installed a DDR4-2666 MHz memory chip.
If that is the case, I recommend you use this kit instead.

If they installed a DDR4-2400 memory chip, then the one you selected (CT2K8G4SFS824A) will be fine as you can see from the link below...

It appears that the DDR4-2666 memory may even be a little less expensive.
