I have HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec0xxx. Can I install
Crucial site is recommending me this ram, but my current ram has a speed of 2400 MHz and the recommended RAM has a speed of 3200 MHz, I don't know much about current CL but according to CPU-Z it is 17.0 clock.
Can I purchase the recommended ram?

Hi:
That part number will be fine.
It will automatically bridge to 2400 MHz, CL17.
If you want the compatible 16 GB 2666 MHz memory chip, this would be the one.

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that you can either use 3200 or 2666 MHz memory.

Hi:
This would be a compatible memory chip for your notebook...
Crucial 8GB DDR4-2666 SODIMM | CT8G4SFRA266 | Crucial IN
This NVMe SSD is reasonably priced and has very good performance...
If you look at chapter 5 of your notebook's service manual, it indicates that the customer is authorized to install memory and a SSD. I assume that means you won't void the warranty unless you were to break something in the process of taking your notebook apart.

If you ever have to send your notebook in for repairs under the warranty, most likely you will be required to have the notebook in its original configuration which means you would need to remove the 8 GB memory and the SSD prior to sending it in.
