Hi:

HP only has the service manual for the older 15-ec0xxx model series.

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop PC

According to chapter 1 of the manual you can install up to 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory.

You can do this to see how much memory your notebook can actually support.

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

I haven't buy it yet, I can't test it,

if it can't work with 32 GB of RAM,

then it doesn't suit me and I won't buy it.

As I wrote yesterday...

The service manual for the older model series indicates that 2 x 16 GB (32GB) of memory is supported.

Naturally the newer 15-ec2xxx model series would also support at least that much.

I was suggesting you run the memory command to see if the notebook would support 2 x 32 GB, which you cannot do at this point.

The Crucial memory report for the 15-ec2000 model series indicates that 32 GB of memory is supported.
