Hi:

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade information and supported drive configurations.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

If you were hoping to install more than 2 x 8 GB of memory, you can run this command to see if that would be possible:

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. After the command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

I'd go with the Crucial memory which is made by Micron.

If you want to add a SATA drive, you may need to find and buy the parts to add one since your notebook came without a 2.5" drive.  Check first before buying a 2.5" drive.

The parts you need are listed in chapter 3 of the manual.

However, the hard drive mounting bracket is not available as a spare part.

If the parts to add a hard drive are not there, I recommend you consider replacing the 256 GB NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.

Thank you very much first of all
When I ran the commands you mentioned and divided by 1024, a value like 32768 came out. I decided to buy Crucial CT2K16G4SFRA32A 32 GB 3200 MHz (2x16GB Kit). Hopefully, there will be no problem 🙂

Regarding SATA SSD, I decided to buy TwinMOS Hyper H2 Ultra SSD (512 GB) (TM512GH2UG).
Thank you again for your help.

You're very welcome.

Your proposed upgrades should work fine.
