Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 16-a0018nd

Hello! I own HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 16-a0018nd. I wanted to know the Max memory Configuration Supported for this device as i'm unable to find the exact information from HP support website. I just typed "wmic memorychip get capacity" in CMD and found below results. 

MaxCapacity
33554432

**

I am currently using system shipped memory 8GB x 2.
Please help me and let me know if max supported memory for this device is 16GB or 32GB.

Hi:

 

I'd say the Windows report would be correct even though chapter 1 of the service manual indicates the max memory is only 2 x 8 GB:

 

Maintenance and Service Guide

 

The Crucial memory report for your notebook indicates it will support 2 x 32 GB of memory.
