HP B49N4AV Pavilion laptop running Win11 on HP G5 dock 5TW10AA and getting HP recommends using an original AC adapter from HP message.  Purchased these together, same order, and the dock G% was the recommended docking station.  So why am I getting the dreaded message that lives on and on.  Any body know a solution for this?

The specs of your machine is

The HP USB-C Dock G5 should work with your machine. Do you

(a)  connect any un-powered devices  to the dock?

(b) your machine have NVIDIA® GeForce® MX570 A (4 GB GDDR6 dedicated) card ?

If yes it is much better to use its charger which came with the machine, the dock may not have enough juice to charge your machine.

I could have provided more detail.  Everything works, laptop charges fully,  I got the business version of the dock with the charger that provides 120W at 19.5V, 6.15A.  The charger with the laptop is 65W.  I have DP and HDMI monitors connected to the dock and they work great also.  All USB connected devices are self-powered except for flash drives.  I wonder if HP is using  'smart pins' to monitor power sources and this is not being handled properly by the dock?  I just want them to stop, I have the correct hardware, so this should not be reporting an issue.  FYI, the dock charger is HP PN L41423-012.
