Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I want to ask if I can upgrade my laptop with this SSD : Crucial P3 Plus 500GB PCIe 4.0 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD, up to 4700MB/s - CT500P3PSSD8

I just want to make sure before I buy it if it will be compatible with my laptop i.e. HP Pavilion Notebook 15-bc406TX

You can but the speed will be degraded, your M.2 port is Gen 3 and not Gen 4.
