Hello,
I am writing this thread to ask you for two things.
1) Is it possible to upgrade my notebook's CPU? It is a HP Pavilion 15-bs008nv (Intel core i5-7200U, AMD Radeon 520 Graphics). I searched the manual and the web and didn't find an answer to this.
2) Do you have any notebook, workstation laptop recommendations with a maximum budget of 2k euro? I want it for heavy business work. Preferable 8 core (or more) CPU (Intel or AMD, I prefer AMD for multitasking and integrated graphics),preferable AMD or Intel graphics because I will use Ubuntu Linux and NVIDIA show multiple problems with Linux systems, RAM up-gradable up to 64 GB (or more) and have the ability for 2 disk drives.
Thank you very much,
George.

Hi, George:
Unfortunately the CPU is an integral part of the motherboard, and the only way to upgrade the processor would be to replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.
It will be very difficult to find the motherboard you need and very expensive.

You will be a lot better off selling or trading in your notebook and buying one equipped with the hardware your computing needs require.
You may want to look into the HP zBook line...
