Dear all,

 

Please help me to choose components to UPGRADE my old G7-1117cl with AMD a4-3300m processor.

 

Please help me with options what are the best CPU, motherboard , ram , and SSD i could install in my G7-1117cl laptop.

 

Many thanks for yours support, so i don't buy wrong components.

The processor your notebook has is not soldered to the motherboard, and you can upgrade it to the AMD A8-3500M 2.40-GHz processor (1.5-GHz FSB, 4.0-MB L2 cache, quad core, 35 W) 

 

The procedure to remove and replace the processor can be found in chapter 4.

Hp does not intend customers to be swapping motherboards, so they provide no compatibility lists.

 

Your model uses DDR3/133MHZ RAM and can handle up to 8GB max.

 

You model uses a standard 2.5 inch SATA laptop drive and can handle any capacity you want. You can replace this with any standard SATA SSD, jut not n.2 SSDs.
