HP Pavilion Power 15 cb015nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone!
I own an HP Pavilion Power 15, model cb015nl. Is the CPU removable and upgradable? I'd like to upgrade to an 8th generation i7.

I do not care about warranty.

Hi:

The processor is not removable.

For a few years now (at least starting with the Intel 4th gen core processors), notebook processors are part of the motherboard, and the only way to upgrade the processor is to replace the entire motherboard with one listed in the service manual for your notebook's model series that may come with a better processor.

Thanks, I suspected this, because the service manual didn't list it as removeable. Thanks!
