HP Pavilion Power Laptop 15-cb0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Greetenigs,

I have some questions about the Hardware of this model(HP Pavilion Power Laptop 15-cb0xx)

Can I add to my laptop an M.2 2280, PCIe NVMe SSD (Samsung 970 EVO 250GB SSD, M.2 2280, PCIe NVMe, 3400MBps (Read)/1500MBps (Write) (MZ-V7E250BW)) ?

Has it slot for M.2 2280, PCIe NVMe SSD or has only slot for SSD 2.5"

Here is the Service Manual:

Manual

See p. 2. The laptop has an M.2 slot and is compatible in general with PCIe/NVME TLC disks. We have had very few reports of User experience with the fairly new Samsung 970 disks. The 960 predecessor caused some issues and some Users were unable to get their systems to recognize it.

I have had good luck with Samsung PM961 M.2 disks and lately with the Adata SX6000 and SX8000 series.

Above is a diagram of what you see inside the laptop.
