HP Pavilion 15-cb004nq

Hello,

I`ve just received this laptop and after I unboxed it, the first try to turn it on failed. I plugged it in and still nothing, no fans, no sound at all, just the "AC adapter and battery light" LED was orange, indicating that the battery was charging. Now, after a while, the battery got charged and the LED is white but still, the laptop won`t start. If I remove the adapter however, the white LED is off.

I tried the hardware reset but in vain.

I didn`t try to remove the battery because it is nonremovable and I don`t want to lose my warranty.

So, what should I do?
I attach a photo with the only light I get when plugged in, nothing else. 😄

Thanks.

Hi

Well your description does sound like a DOA (Dead on Arrival) and should be covered by a Warranty, so contact the seller in the first instance.

Hello,

Indeed, it was broken. I guess something at power distribution.
I sent it back and they sent me another one which works and I love it.

Thanks for your answer.
