Good afternoon friends. I ask for help.
I want to put in my HP Pavilion Power 15-cb021ur SSD M.2 PCI. SSD must be bootable for laptop. I bought a SSD Gigabyte NVMe 1tB (GP-GSM2NE3100TNTD), but the laptop BIOS doesn’t see it - I can’t install Windows on it. I need to install an SSD of at least 500gB (better than 1tB). In the service manual, HP recommends an SSD of 256 GB, PCIe (847109-020). On the Crucial website, I picked up the Crucial 1TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD (CT1000P1SSD8) for my laptop number. Will this SSD work on my laptop? What SSD on 1tB would you recommend putting?

P.S. Crucial SSD is made on 3D QLC NAND memory chips. This memory is not reliable. Advise what SSD can be put in my laptop on 3D TLC NAND chips. For example: WD Black SN750 500GB WDS500G3X0C

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive installed on the PC.
See the below table on storage compatibility:

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thanks for the answer. I sent a request for compatibility between the Crucial SSD and laptop and got an answer - SSD should work in my laptop.
I bought and put the Crucial P1 NVMe1TB CT1000P1SSD8 in the laptop, it is visible in the BIOS, but I can not install Windows 7 x64 on this SSD. When installing Windows does not see the SSD - I get a request to install the device driver. To install Windows 7, you need SSD drivers, on the Crucial website they are not. The HP website also does not have drivers for Windows 7 x64.
I need to install Windows 7, since I'm working with software that is not supported by Windows 10. Can you help me find my laptop drivers for Windows 7 x64? HP wrote such drivers?
P.S. Windows 10 installs seamlessly - Crucial SSD is compatible with HP Pavilion power.

The drivers are made by Microsoft, not by HP. However, you can download the operating system
The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.

Thank you very much for your reply. I solved my problem: I downloaded the Windows assembly with integrated USB 3.0 and NVMe drivers. The assembly was installed, installed the driver (put beta on the video) - everything works.
