There are 3 times flashing caps lock and solid orange color of wifi. Please help me? I have replaced the hard disk,Ram module but to no avail.

Hi @Ibzy,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The flashing caps lock LED on an HP laptop can be a diagnostic indicator for a hardware problem. When it flashes three times, it usually indicates a memory or RAM issue. The solid orange color of the Wi-Fi LED might also indicate a problem with the wireless adapter.
Here are some steps you can try to diagnose and potentially resolve the issue:
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Disconnect the AC adapter and remove the battery, if possible.
- Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the battery and AC adapter.
- Try turning on the laptop.
Check the RAM:
- Sometimes, reseating or replacing the RAM modules can resolve this issue. Ensure the laptop is unplugged and the battery is removed.
- Locate the RAM slots on your laptop (usually accessible through a panel on the bottom).
- Carefully remove and reseat the RAM modules. If you have spare RAM or multiple RAM modules, try different combinations to identify if one of them is faulty.
Check for Loose Connections:
- Open your laptop and check if any internal components, such as the display cable or Wi-Fi card, are loose or disconnected. You may need to consult the laptop's service manual for guidance on how to do this.
Try an External Monitor:
- Connect an external monitor to your laptop to see if you can get a display on the external screen. This will help determine if the issue is with the laptop's display or a more serious problem.
Check for Overheating:
- Overheating can cause hardware issues. Ensure that the laptop's cooling system (fans and vents) is clean and functioning properly.
Perform a BIOS Recovery:
- If possible, try performing a BIOS recovery. This involves resetting the BIOS to its default settings, which can sometimes resolve hardware-related problems.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
