Pavillion DV6-3013cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a HP Pavilion dv6-3013cl entertainment Notebook PC. I have black screen and the cap locks button is blinking 1 time slowly and the f12 button light is on. I  have reset the memory. Looks like CPU might be bad. What is a good upgrade for this laptop?

Almost certainly it is not the CPU but the motherboard.

Thank you for your reponse. What motherboard would be a good upgrade for this notebook?

Upgrade options are pretty limited. This motherboard would give you older dedicated graphics which are still going to be pretty weak by today's standards:

For use on computer models equipped with a graphics subsystem with dedicated memory and the HD 6550 chipset 631082-001

You can only use motherboards made for this model. All the AMD processors offered will fit on all the motherboards offered.

These processors now cost next to nothing having reached obsolescence. You already have an AMD N930 which is nearly the best offered. You could install a N970 but I doubt you would see much difference.

New motherboard shipped from CHina:

If you use this motherboard you will also need a different heatsink since you have an additional chip (dedicated video) to cool.
