Hello MShahzad. I understand you are witnessing a code 45 error in Device Manager, when attempting to utilize your fingerprint scanner. To commence troubleshooting, I would like you to visit this Microsoft website: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310123

 

When this website loads, it might suggest to run Microsoft Fix-it. Please utilize it by clicking "Run now". The utility will download and the start itself, and it could resolve the issue. If it does not resolve the issue, or the utility does not appear, please review the troubleshooting for code 45 on the website.

 

Please inform me of your results. I will continue to assist you if necessary.
