Pavilion dv6000

Hello,

Sorry for spamming. I understand that this is probably not entirely appropriate in this community. I'm looking for an AMD TL-68 processor (the processor alone is enough for me) or a whole HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop - for example, the dv6870 model:
https://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K8/AMD-Turion%2064%20X2%20Mobile%20technology%20TL-68%20-%20TMDTL68HA...

https://www.euro.com.pl/laptopy-i-netbooki/hp-pavilion-dv6870ew-tl68-4096mb-320gb-vhp.bhtml

Does anyone have this processor or laptop that they want to get rid of and it would still be useful to me?

I probably won't be able to get this processor anywhere.

I probably have an HP Pavilion dv6240eu model (it is made up of multiple laptops). I would like to replace the existing AMD Sempron 3500+ processor with a TL-68 (it will be an experiment to see if it will run at all).

@mirkrat,

Yes, the AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-68 would be compatible, but even if you were to get a hold of this processor, what is the point?

You would see only a very small performance difference:

HP no longer makes docs for that series very available. Here is a link to a 3rd party source for the Service Manual for the original dv6000 series. TL-68 is not listed as a compatible processor:

Yes, I know, but theoretically it could work, some dv6000 - e.g. this laptop has it: https://www.euro.com.pl/laptopy-i-netbooki/hp-pavilion-dv6870ew-tl68-4096mb-320gb-vhp.bhtml
But I don't know if it's dv6000 or dv6700 or another. The processor is compatible with the s1g1 socket.
I would like to try it, it's worth an experiment.
But where can I get it?

I looked on eBay De and did not find one either. Must be rare. Several others in the same series but not that specific one. Good luck.

Unfortunately, I know there's nothing on Ebay either. That's why I wrote directly here, I thought maybe one of the local enthusiasts might know something. If someone I know happens to have something.

Well, of course, so it's not worth looking for this unavailable thing, but it's more than enough to buy a TL-60 or maybe even worse, a cheaper one.
Just as it probably wasn't worth upgrading the Intel T8100 to an Extreme X9000, where there's probably not much better performance either.
Thanks, that's probably enough for me. It's a waste of money, but I like to experiment, it was more of an experiment with an uncertain result.

@mirkrat,

I understand, I am a PC-tinkerer ("whisperer") as well!

Good luck to you,
