Windows 11 Upgrade Guide
so my HP pavilion dv6000(system information says dv6700) is getting really annoying when it comes to basic, simple graphic making.
so i was planning to get a new graphics card and install 4GB RAM.
P/N : FN538EA#ABV
processor :Intel(R) Core (TM)2 Duo CPU T5750 @2.00GHz
Installed Ram :2GB
64-bit operating system
motherboard manufacturer :Quanta
motherboard model :Not Available
Graphics card : NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
Total available graphics memory: 1279MB
Dedicated video memory :256 MB
system video memory : 0 MB
shared system memory : 1023MB
The only upgrade you can do on that PC would be to install the 2 x 2 GB of memory, and maybe replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" solid state drive (SSD).
The graphics adapter is an integral part of the motherboard, not a removable card, and you already have the best graphics adapter that was offered by HP for the model series.
but the graphics card is horrible, plus i need openGL 4.0 and i upgraded the driver to its maximum but still i dont have openGL 4.0
