Triple and even Quad cores were offered

Manual

Not sure which you have but it looks like the most powerful processor offered was this

AMD Phenom X2 Dual-Core N970 Quad-Core, 35W, 2.20-GHz with 2.0-MB L2
cache
616346-001

Not sure how much improvement you would see, however. The offered processors are all pretty much obsolete at this point.

looks like i will keep what it has as I got it booted into bios and says it is a Triple core N830 only problem I have now is the mouse(touchpad ) don't work but works with a external one maybe a bad board

I am installing drivers to see if that fixes it probably won't as it was a as is laptop and the second board they gave me won't show nothing on the screen but will show on a external screen

crazy so it is get a used MB for it or sell all for parts as the screen is good but won't work on a Envy model
