Hello,

I have a HP Pavilion dv7-6c95dx, quite old but works wonderfully, so I would like to upgrade the RAM to 16GB and install a SSD drive.

Since I am not a Tech savvy, question is that I am not sure of compatibility; hence would you kindly be able to let me know if the below items would fit?

Officially 8 gigs is the maximum memory but its pretty well document the 2d gen Intel Core Quads will run 16 gigs. Its DDR3-1333. Pretty sure it will work in your laptop. 

 

The SSD will be fine.
