Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

I have a HP Pavilion Notebook g6 2320tx with 4GB RAM. I want to upgrade the RAM to 8GB, will it be possible ? if yes, which RAM should I purchase for it?

Also, can I install windows 10 Professional 64 Bit after the upgrade?

Hi,

Yes, you can upgrade the notebook to 8GB. The max supported is 16GB of DDR3 1600Mhz (2x8GB)

There are two slots, so you can add another 4GB stick in the empty slot.

ON page 47 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM:

Example of RAM:

Hope it helps,

David

Thank you David. I have one more query, the manual instructs to place the memory module in an electrostatic safe container, may I know what kind of containers it is talking about?
