Hello I'm having HP Pavilion n208tx model with one slot containing 4GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM.
I'm from India want to upgrade total RAM of my system to 12 GB . Since I'm totally new to this kind of thing I need help regarding this.
As I mentioned, I want to upgrade my total RAM to 12 gigs but I'm pretty confused to which one I should go for .
I'm currently having these options (I've posted links for convenience) :
Crucial 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.35V 1024Meg x 64
http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/scanview/444F50C031D926C3
HP 4GB DDR3L 1600MHz 1.35V SODIMM RAM
Kingston 8 GB RAM FOR LAPTOP 1600MHZ PC3L (LOW VOLTAGE)
Corsair 8GB DDR3L Low Voltage 1.35V 1600Mhz Laptop Memory SODIMM
http://www.amazon.in/Corsair-Voltage-1600Mhz-Laptop-CMSO8GX3M1C1600C11/dp/B00EHJ5U0K/ref=pd_cp_e_0
These are as per mentioned on the websites.
Can you please help me out ?
Are the specs mentioned above correct i.e compatible with my system ? Or if you find these unsuitable , it will be better if you could suggest some product as per my system configuration ? 4 gb will work fine as well.
Thanks in advance.

It'll take time for me to view the image as it has to be approved my moderators.
The Samsung RAM you have now would be this I guess:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00CV5GWHC/ref=redir_mdp_mobile/177-5507417-4516704
No problem in going in for 12gb if you want. But as I mentioned two identical RAMs have it's own benefits.
Both the RAM you mentioned in previous post looks compatible. Check whether there are 8 Black memory chip banks on the RAM (physically) - look at their pics. Some have 4 memory banks even though the RAM configuration you need may be the same - they don't sometimes work in some HP laptops (from various feedbacks in this forum).

Hello sir . Thanks for ur reply.
I'm due to some error unable to send the message .
I'm attaching the snapshot from cpu-z in next post.
I'm not getting the exact same ram and which is same is not delivering in my area.
- Samsung 4GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600MHz non-ECC Unbuffered CL11 204-Pin SoDimm 1.35V Low Voltage Single Rank Memory Module Mfr P/N M471B5173DB0-YK0
This RAM is as per my understanding same as my installed one . But I'm not sure it'll ship to my location .
Sir if I install a 8 gig one in place of 4 gig one , will it have some adverse effects ?
Like say
Crucial 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.35V 1024Meg x 64 or
Kingston Technology 8GB 1600MHz PC3-12800 1.35V SODIMM Memory for Select HP/Compaq Notebook ?

Unfortunately the pic was not approved by mods.
And yes , this is exactly the same RAM installed in my system , same part number.
Does the number of memory banks effect the compatibility ? Because yes , both the RAMs I mentioned have 8 banks . And the one installed in my system will be having (my guess ) 4 banks , as per the pic on amazon.com says about the RAM.
Does it effect ?
And sir in your 209tx post , I read that the warranty is not effected in case of upgradation . Can I know about that ?

No warranty is affected. Only if you do upgrade and something goes wrong, then HP would not cover that under warranty repair or anything. So if you're not sure about this, go to nearest HP service center they'll do it for you.

Hello sir .
KTH-X3CL/8G
This RAM was suggested to me on HP forum . Can you just once see it's fine ? Another reason I'm going for this is that this is also available easily and delivering to my location. So can you please see once ? And sorry for bothering you again. I'm just really confused.

From following link, the compatible laptop models for the RAM doesn't list your laptop unfortunately:

Thank you sir for all your help.
I went to a local store which deals in thete things . He simply took out the RAM and noted down the specs of RAM and tomorrow it'll be done . Either Samsung or HP . Hynix one he was having but not in DDR3L , only DDR3 . So tomorrow I'll get it done .
And I'm surprised that Kingston one I mentioned in previous post doesn't seem to be compatible as it was suggested on HP forum only . Anyways.
Thanks a lot sir
