Hi! My laptop won't charge and won't turn on. It is plugged in but the light that indicates that it's charging does not light up.
This has happened to me a couple of times for the past two weeks. What I did was to remove the battery once, put it back in and plug the charger. It was okay before but it does not work anymore.
I tried using another HP charger but it still doesn't light up. Same goes if I remove the battery and charge it on its own.
Some five months ago, a small bulge appeared above the keyboard, sits directly on top of where the battery is supposed to be. There was nothing wrong with the battery tho so I continued using it. I was wondering if it's related somehow.
Pls help. I don't know how to open it and stuff so I might go and have it checked later but if there is an easy way to check what's wrong, i'll be happy to know. Thank u!

I reviewed your post and I understand that the battery is not getting charged and the computer is not powering on.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
This looks like a hardware issue as the computer is not powering on with a different charger. I recommend you contact support and check the available service options for your computer.
Here is how you can get in touch with support.
1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
