We bought the HP Pavilion x 360 Laptop in Aug 2020 for my daughter for HS. She is telling me that it is very laggy, it's loud, and it overheats easily and has been since we bought it. Has anyone else experienced this or have any fixes for me to try? I'm making sure it's all up to date right now... and of course it's out of warranty now so any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Hello Mommariegel,
the fan outlets and the inside of the notebook should be cleaned. A possibly slower hard drive should be replaced with an SSD. If you go even further, you could replace the thermal paste of the CPU, GPU and bridges to stop the overheating.
