Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hello. My 32GB of hard drive is no longer large enough for updating Windows. Is it possible to upgrade to a 128GB (or larger) drive?

As far as I can tell, the storage is soldered to the motherboard, making replacement very difficult. However, there are a few ways you MIGHT be able to upgrade it:

1. Your HP uses eMMC storage, so it is theoretically possible to purchase a larger chip and solder it in place, but that would be very hard, and may not even work.
2. Looking at pictures of the motherboard, your WiFi card is M.2, so, again, in theory, you could get an adapter and put a small M.2 SSD in that slot, but it probably will not work, as it is only designed for WiFi cards.

3. Your tablet has a MicroSD Card slot, so assuming that the BIOS supports it, you could buy a card and install Windows on that. If you go this route, get a decent card from a known brand like Samsung or SanDisk because MicroSD cards are not designed for storing OSes, so a cheap, slow card, could make your tablet ridiculously sluggish.

Again, these are theoretical solutions, so proceed with caution. Good luck!
