I have been in contact with Microsoft because I keep loosing functionality of items (Battery Icon - Card Reader - Bluetooth). They have checked my Pavillion X2 Detachable and come to a dead end. They have advised that Current BIOS is out of date. BIOS hasnot been updated since purchase in 2015, I am looking to get a current BIOS but HP don't seem to recognise any. Can anyone suggest route to update as I have exhausted my capability to to recover from developing BRICK status

Hi@Norbwcle,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are looking to update Bios on the HP Pavilion Laptop.
I have a few recommendations
- Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM or visit this link Official HP® Drivers and Software Download | HP® Customer Support.
- You can check this link for more details to install specific BIOS updates.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
