Hello i am interested in upgrading to a SATA SSD.
I have a HP Pavilion x360 13-u106la model from 2017, can someone point out if is posible to use a SATA SSD.

Yes. The Manual explains as so:
The mounting brackets and the hard drive/solid-state drive cable are not included in the drive spare part kit. The hard drive/solid-state drive cable is available using spare part number 856011-001. The hard drive mounting bracket is available using spare part number 856012-001. The solid-state drive mounting bracket is available using spare part number 856013-001.
The exact model you give us is not coming up but if you already have a 2.5 inch SATA hard drive you can replace it with a 2.5 inch SATA SSD and use the same mounting hardware. Alternately, an M.2 "gumstick" slot is present but you cannot use it and the 2.5 inch bay together. Use of one precludes the other if that makes any sense.
