Hi,

Your PC will support max 32GB of DDR4 2400Mhz RAM (2x16GB) even if service manual mentions 12GB

There are two slots and at the moment you have one module of 8GB and one empty slot. So you can insert another 8GB stick for a total of 16GB. You can buy from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung...

On page 43 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM:

Hope it helps,

David

Hi

I would suggest

Speccy from Piriform, and then look at Crucial and Kingston websites for recommendations.

the question was whether this device can handle 16GB, I do not find this further back

Hi

I don't know, HP do not give a parts list or a comprehensive manual.

Hence my answer.

The motherboard is not listed.

Speccy helps by...

Manufacturer HP
Model 8130 (P0)

Memory slots
Total memory slots 2
Used memory slots 1
Free memory slots 1

Hey David
Would it be for the system (1GU58EA) ENVY Curved 34-b026nb. I can also play heavy games there, I could update it to 32 gb

HP Recommended

Hi,

Yes. A great piece of equipment.

The 34-b026nb supports max 32GB of DDR4-2133 Mhz (2x16GB) RAM

You can also use 2400Mhz modules which will run at 2133Mhz

Example of RAM:
