HP PAVILION X360 CD0055TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a HP Pavilion X360 CD0055TX, it has an Intel Optane Memory 16GB and I wanted to check if I can replace it with Seagate FireCuda 510 (1TB), it's a M.2 PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe SSD. I'm unclear if the slot on my Laptop will support it. I have opened the laptop and the pins don't match. I'm attaching the pic of the Optane on my Laptop. Can anyone please let me know what type of drive I can replace it with? Or if the Seagate that I bought can be used in the same slot. I bought it because the Optane Memory's Name on my PC shows as PCIe NVMe M.2 Memory for Optane. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,

Abrar.

You can install PCIe, NVMe, value, M.2, solid-state drive.

It is compatible for 512 and 256 GB.

I hope that helps.

Welcome to HP support community.

The compatible part number for optane memory module 16gb is L18197-001

You can refer page no.37 in this service guide for the steps to replace:- Click here

I hope that helps.

So I Cannot replace the Optane with a SSD like Seagate NVME PCIE M.2 Drive? I have gone through the manual, from what I've researched and read online, that Optane slot should also support SSD. What I'm looking to clarify is will that support an NVME PCIE M.2 drive or just an M.2 Drive.
