HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-cd0xxx Battery Life

I recently bought my HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-cd0xxx and everything about this laptop was awesome except the fact that the battery life was very short which does not match up to what the website says: " With up to 11 hours of battery life, take on your day without worrying about recharging. "

And you are getting "up to 11 hours", right? Seriously how long of battery runtime are you getting? 2 would spell a problem but if 4 or 5 you are well within the average of actual user experience.

If the battery life is "up to 11 hours", I would be expecting at least 6 to 7 hours of battery life as I need to use my laptop on the go and the battery life is too short. Other brands of laptops like Lenovo Yoga 720 promises up to 11 hours and 30 minutes of battery life on a single charge, but when used excessively the battery lasted at least 6 hours

I am currently using the pavilion x360 and im extremely unsatisfied with it.

But you are not going to tell me how long you are getting for battery runtime no matter how many times I ask? OK I can only suggest if you have a return privilege take it back and get something else. Good luck.

On using it for tasks like video editing, i am getting about 1.5h out of it. On average it lasts for 3 to 4 hours

I agree that is unsatisfactory. All you can really do is return it or maybe try some of the battery stretcher tips everyone gives: turn down screen brightness being the most effective. You can try making a warranty claim but generally HP does not replace the laptop or even the battery unless you get an error code on running diagnostics.

I'm only getting 2hrs of battery life once fully charged. HP are denying that there are any faults as no troubleshooting is coming up with any errors. It really is disappointing after claiming to have such a long battery life!
