Product: HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14m-dw0023dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I got my new  HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14m-dw0023dx recently and the battery can't last for even 5hrs of normal usage. Wanted to know if there is any solution to fixing this or that's just how long the battery lasts. On the hp website it says the battery should be able to last for about 10-11hrs.

Hi,

I believe the 10-11 hours is in ideal conditions with only video playback

I believe they state about 8 hours in mixed usage.

 

I would say 5 hours is OK. You could maybe turn down the brightness of the screen and adjust other options in power options to get about 6-8 hours.

I'm getting up to 5hrs. The most I get is 3hrs thus, with brightness and everything turned down.
