Hi

I have plan to upgrade my laptop WIFI card from "Wi-Fi 6 ax201" to "WI-FI 6e ax211" or any other 6e cards.

Could you please someone tell me what's the hp WIFI 6e card part number?

I bought a regular generic intel ax211 and it did not working because of bios whitelist. so looking for something with hp part number.

please let me know if there is a wifi 6e card out there work with laptop without whitelist problem.

I don't think there is a whitelist in BIOS. The series supports pre-built adapters:

 

  • Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro MIPI+BRI WW with 2 antennas part #  L57250-005
  • Intel 9461 ac 1×1 MU-MIMO + Bluetooth 5.0 M.2 non-vPro MIPI+BRI worldwide with 1 antenna part # L25889-005
  • Realtek ac 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 M.2 2230 PCI-e+USB worldwide with 2 antennas part # L44796-005

wifi 6e like intel  ax211 or killer ax1675i support 6ghz.

HP's new ProBook 440 and 450 laptops comes with wifi 6e ax211. so it should be part number for it in hp database

You have to wait, the latest generation is G8. No document for G9 at this stage
