HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 15-br095ms Cant upgrade to SSD because flex cable is missing. Is there a kit to upgrade this model computer for a 2.5inch hdd. It came with an 128 SSD not a 2.5 inch drive but an imbedded 128 SSD. I need the correct part number to add an SSD 500GB. How do I disable the 128GB SSD also?

The specs on your specific model say it is a 128 gig M.2 SSD, not an "embedded" (soldered on) eMMC which was offered on some models in that series so you should be able to remove it. Here is the Service Manual:
In that model there are two ways to attach an M.2. It can be directly inserted into a slot on the motherboard like this:
M.2 slot blue attachment screw red
Or there can be an adapter sled which allows the M.2 to go where the hard drive would usually be:
M.2 adapter sled
So you COULD get the 2.5 inch disk adapter which would work for a 2.5 inch SSD but one way or another you can install a larger M.2 "gumstick" disk or add another one. Your laptop would use this kind of "gumstick" SSD:
SATA ONLY (3-prong)
Post back with any other questions or please accept as solution if this is the answer you needed.

Look at pages 53-55 of this Manual and describe which parts you already have and exactly what you are trying to do. Do you have the hard drive connector board and cable and bracket? You need all three pieces to install a hard drive/2.5 inch SSD.
