Hello,
I'm planning to upgrade my WiFi card and am looking for specific details regarding the M.2 slot Key type. Could anyone provide an official link to a hardware guide that includes this information?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Moshe

Hi:
The link to the service manual doesn't work and I cannot find one that does.
HP Pavilion x360 Laptop - 14-dw0002nj - Setup and User Guides | HP® Support
There is a service teardown video:
Removing & replacing parts for HP Pavilion 14-dw0000 x360 | HP Computer Service (youtube.com)
In the absence of a service manual we don't know what model Wi-Fi cards HP offered in the model series.
The Wi-Fi adapter is M.2 2230 and any M.2 Wi-Fi adapter should fit into the slot.
What we don't know is what Wi-Fi cards will work, so any other model card you install would be an experiment on your part.
These two cards would have the best chance of working in my opinion, based on the hardware your notebook has:
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # / SPS #L35282-005
Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # / SPS # M27269-005

Hi Paul,
Thank you very much for the detailed information and the video link. I appreciate the effort in providing alternative solutions given the absence of a service manual.
I am considering upgrading to an Intel Wi-Fi 7 card and need to verify its compatibility with the M.2 slot. According to Intel's documentation, the required M.2 slot should be Key E (not A). Do you have any tips on how I can confirm the Key type of the M.2 slot in my HP Pavilion x360?
Thanks again for your help!
Moshe

You're very welcome, Moshe.
The Intel BE200 would fit in the slot, but I would have no idea if it will work. Theoretically it should.
When you go to remove the card, you will not find two keys in the M.2 Wi-Fi card slot, just the 'E' key.
In other words, there would be no 'A' key to prevent the insertion of the Intel BE200.
Just make sure you get the non-vPro version of the card.
Cheers,
Paul
