Product: Pavilion x360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently bought the HP pavilion x360. And it has two SS ports on either sides of the laptop which should accept USB cables. But my USB cables only fit on the right side SS port and the same does not fit into the left SS port.

Although both the ports look identically same.

 

Please help me out in understanding whether it’s a hardware problem with the port or it’s designed for any particular type cables, and if so which.
