Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Have just bought a HP Pavilion x360 14" Convertible Laptop Core i5 DW1009TU and a Thinkpad USB-C Dock Gen 2

I am unable to get the dock to work correctly (Display) with the laptop?

The laptop is seeing the dock (USB ports are working, charging and gets network) but does not display onto the 2x Screens.

I have made sure i have the firmware is up-to date, made sure all windows updates are completed and still no luck.

Even if i just use one screen plugged in, still no luck.

I have tried this dock on a Thinkpad laptop, Macbook Air and a HP Elitebook G5 and all works fine with these this is with multiple different types of screens and cables, no issues.

It just seems that the dock does not display with my HP Pavilion x360 14" Convertible Laptop Core i5 DW1009TU.

Has anyone seen this issue or have any ideas on how i can get it to work correctly?

Thank you!

It is an   HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dw1009TU  ? Its specs

Since not all USB-C ports are the same, specially when cross vendors. Looks like they (your machine and Lenovo dock) are NOT compatible. Your machine should work with the HP USB-C Gen 5  (5TW10AA) dock.
