HP Pavilion Gaming Notebook - 15-ak005tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an old HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop AK-005TX with i7-6700HQ, M.2 SSD 128GB, 480B SSD, 8GB RAM Geforce 950M and Intel 530.

Its a 2016 model and am trying to service it (also I wlll eventally drop another stick of 8GB Ram in there) and get it running well again, but,

It seems the last person who opened it up or serviced it has removed all the thermal pads without replacing them. There is not a single thermal pad in the entire build....

Ive reapplied thermal paste to the heat sink sinks that cover the CPU and both the GPUs with TG Kryonauut but there is no other cooling solutions past those and the the fan....

I want to apply some Thermal Pads ive found online but not sure what thickness the originals were.
he case fits together a bit tight as it is and i dont want to get too thick, nor do i want to get too thin.
Does anyone one know what thickness of the stock thermal pads for the MOSFETS, SSD, Chips Etc is?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you in advance.

Here is the Service Manual:

Manual

Start on p. 49 it shows the heatsinks. Thermal pads are not really mentioned or illustrated. Where metal heatsink meets metal, thermal compound is used. Not sure where you would add thermal pads except perhaps as an overlay for the M.2 SSD if you have one.

Thank you for that bit of info, I t was helpful, however I wasn't able to get the exact thickness of the Thermal Pads from the Manual, only that replacement thermal pads are included with athe HP OEM Replacement  ? Spare Parts heat sink (if you were to in need of replacing that).
I was able to find an online stockist for the heatsink replacement pack and have requested the dimensions of the thermal pads .
hopefully they will reply,.. I want to purchase a matching 8GB RAM stick so if they reply I will ask them to include it with the that.

Thank you for your help.
