@Prachit,

You cannot upgrade your laptop with an 8-core processor.  HP offers several laptop models fitted with Intel 8-core processors. Here are some of the most affordable/popular (used) models to consider:

  1. HP Spectre x360: The Spectre x360 is a premium 2-in-1 convertible laptop that offers high performance. Certain configurations of the Spectre x360 can be equipped with Intel 8-core processors, such as the Intel Core i7-10875H or Intel Core i9-10885H.

  2. HP ZBook Studio: The ZBook Studio is a mobile workstation designed for professionals who require powerful performance. It can be configured with Intel 8-core processors, such as the Intel Core i7-10875H or Intel Xeon processors like the Intel Xeon E-2276M.

  3. HP OMEN X 2S: The OMEN X 2S is a gaming laptop that features a unique secondary display above the keyboard. Some configurations of the OMEN X 2S come with Intel 8-core processors, such as the Intel Core i7-10875H or Intel Core i9-10980HK.

As to where to purchase any of these laptops in/from India, is something I have no experience with.

Hope this was helpful.

@Prachit,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

You can probably upgrade your CPU -unless your laptop is fitted with an Intel Core i7-8565U, which is the most powerful processor available for your HP Pavilion x360 - 14-cd0050tx (4LR35PA).  However, since the CPU is an integral part of your system board, you'll have to replace the entire system board which is expensive and/or challenging to find:

Thank you for the update, actually i checked the link shared and it says i can have maximum of 4 cores for my PC with a i7.

Currently i have dual core i3.

It will be more costly, i'd rather buy another one with an octa core processor.

Is it possible for you to suggest the best option with 8 core ?.
