I am looking to upgrade my laptop's ram, currently its 8 GB and it has AMD Ryzen 5 5500U Processor
I want to make it 16GB. Is it a good idea to upgrade it as i am a developer?
I need some knowledge about what type of ram stick would i require to achieve this, and get optimal performance.
am worried from my friends past experience of upgrading which degraded his performance instead, could have been a wrong configuration or something.
hence i decided to post this here, and know about my laptop's real capacity to upgrade Ram, how much is removable/upgradable, and what combination of ram sticks will work the best.
Looking forward for your reply

@KujoJotaro

What is your 15-eh1xxx machine, it should be very similar with the following machine

             HP 15-eh1147au

You can upgrade to 16GB using  Crucial 16GB kit

You can also upgrade to 32GB if you wish using Crucial 32GB kit

Even 64GB Crucial 64GB kit

Regards.
