When trying to upgrade Windows 10 I get this message and don't know how to uninstall: Uninstall not compatible w/upgrade HO Pavillion Notebook - Bios needs to be upgraded before you can upgrade to Windows 10. This HP Pavillion Notebook was purchased on 7-6-17and it gives lots of problems! Not very happy. We bought another one 6 days later for my husband and it does the same thing!
Please help!

You have the AMD A10-8700P processor and it will not accept the latest update (Creators Edition) to Windows 10 unless and until you do the latest BIOS update.
This is it:
The BIOS update is pretty important for this laptop so I would do it and then also let Windows 10 do its update which is a fairly long process. Once all is updated come back and we can revisit any other issues you may be having.
Just to explain again as best I can...the update from HP to the BIOS (my link above) should be done first. Then go in and run a Windows Update and all should go through smoothly.

No. That language in the notice is unfortunate. If you removed the BIOS the laptop would never boot again. Some kind of BIOS is necessary for the computer to work. No, all you need to do is install the higher level BIOS which will overwrite the old BIOS Code where needed to upgrade. I hope that makes some sense.
